The abbreviation LVD is easy to expand. This is a low-voltage devices panel. The short abbreviation LVD contains not just a set of elements, but a whole range of electrical and mechanical elements, including measuring equipment, signaling, switching device unit, control system, protection unit and other elements. The main purpose of LVDs is to receive, redistribute and control electrical energy.
The wording "low-voltage" should not be misleading. The LVD is capable of servicing industrial networks with a voltage of up to 1000 volts. It is possible to use the LVD panel in operation - this is the panel for automatic control of DC and AC networks.
Versions of LVD
By the scope of use the LVD can be classified by type:

Inlet switchgear. Designed to receive and distribute electricity. The scope of such devices is extremely wide. Automatic load transfer panel. Provides uninterrupted power supply to devices using electricity. To perform its main function, this complete device uses automatic switching between power sources. At the same time, the sources themselves are independent of each other.
Automatic control panel. Performs the function of monitoring and protection of equipment against emergency modes - abrupt uneven change of energy, short circuits, etc. Different types of equipment require different automatic control panels. For example, the pump control panel (PCP), the lighting control panel (LCP) and the LVD panel itself.
An important remote control connection is provided for each panel, which increases the convenience and safety of operation. We have developed our own software for controlling the cabinet through a touch monitor.
LVD design
Low-voltage complete devices are quite different in design. At the same time, a single principle is used during their manufacture: structural materials must provide reliable protection of the device itself from high temperatures, strong mechanical loads and electrical impact. Thanks to this, low-voltage complete devices make it possible to increase the efficiency of control and distribution of electricity.
LVDs manufactured by "Teplovye Sistemy Llc" profitably differ in their versatility. They can be either floor or hinged (wall). With a high degree of dust and moisture protection (from ip21- to ip54). There is a possibility of connecting power both from above and from below, which increases the variability of their installation.

LVD panel. Basically, it is a metal frame product. There can be both open and closed versions. According to the installation options, it can be floor, wall or built-in.
LVD box. Hinged metal structure. On the front side the box is equipped with a lockable door. And in terms of its dimensions, it takes up the least space of all options for low-voltage complete devices.
LVD cabinet. Typically, this is a device with a metal body and a door for accessing controls. Reliable modern equipment of such well-known brands as Rital and DKC is used as a case.
LVD unit. This device is implemented in three versions. In addition to a stationary installation, it can be rotary or retractable. Control elements and light indication equipment are located on control panel of LVD unit.
