MDB. Main Distribution Board
The main distribution board (MDB) was created for receiving and further redistribution, monitoring and accounting of electricity by consumers. As additional functions, MDB can be used to protect lines from short circuits, overload and current leakage.

Visually MDBs can be very different from each other since they are produced for different numbers of inputs and outputs. More often though the main distribution boards are made with two inputs and outputs. Power is supplied from transformers, and output is made through a sectional panel. One of the important advantages of the main distribution board is the ability to disassemble all sections.

Installation process
The product installation process is simple. But here the sequence of operations performed is very important. For example, first it is necessary to install circuit breakers on the panel, adjust the placement of copper buses. Power supply of MDB sections is carried out using mutually redundant lines. Plastrons made of non-combustible material are used to protect against electric current damage.
During installation, rheostats and regulators, fuses and signaling devices, relays and circuit breakers are also installed in the main distribution board.
